Angelika Grohmann

lived for 10 years in a Buddhist community and trained as a Yoga Teacher at the Iyengar institute in London.She has been teaching yoga for 20 years. Her emphasis is and has always been the path of the heart, direct experience and truthfulness. She spent some time in 'Auroville', teaching Yoga, inspired by the teachings of The Mother and Sri Aurobindo. She went several times to Poona to work with Geeta and B.K.S. Iyengar. Angelika has studied and practiced under the guidance of Dona Holleman in Italy and Orit Sen Gupta(Jerusalem), inspired by their pioneering spirits. She established the studio 'Yoga Space' in London and ran it successfully for six years. In 2002 Angelika started the Yoga teacher training in collaboration with Sama Fabian and joined the 'Aurolab YogaProject' (www.aurolabyoga.net)

Currently she studies with Swami Veda Bharati the ancient teachings of the Himalayan tradition and stays in regular contact with his Ashram in Rishikesh.
