“Beauty and Utility”
In the 19th century an eye for utility was a blessing to humanity. Today it is becoming partially a curse as beauty often only serves utility and utility is not beautified for beauty's sake.
Today, in much of advertising and industrial design beauty is slave to utility and placed there only attract us to utility and to falsely placate our inner urge to beauty.
May our education systems, public relations and industrial design develop to present to us the fulfilment of our intuitive urge to beauty. May we not view beauty in nature and persons for its utilisation but to fill our souls and minds with a sense of wonder and reverence for beauty for its own sake.
May the humanity's wisdom so grow that utility again serves beauty and beauty remains absolute in Herself.
May you be a soul who feels a sense of fullness because of your inner beauty that enjoys and cherishes its affinity with the beauty in the universe and in all its parts.
